This belt is constructed from a dirty-white vegetable-tanned Culatta hide, known for its high oil content and excellent aging properties. To achieve this distinctive look, the leather is hammered, giving it an almost stone-like appearance.

A layer of heavily textured horse culatta is hand-stitched to the first half of the belt and the brass buckle part.

0.hide pieces are made to change. Leather will darken, soften, crease, polish, and develop a patina through contact with the body, light, air, and use. These changes are not flaws, rather they are part of the object becoming personal.

To care for the leather, avoid soaking, heavy rain, prolonged direct sunlight, and high heat. When the surface feels dry, apply a small amount of leather crème with a soft cloth. Let the leather absorb the cream naturally, then gently buff the surface.
